Four gentle, travel-size essentials for dry, sensitive skin

Dry, tight, easily irritated skin is one of the things my patients mention most during acne treatment. This kit brings together four of Medik8's gentlest formulas in mini sizes, so you can try them before committing to full sizes, or keep your routine simple when you're away from home. Every product is under 100ml, so the whole kit fits in your cabin bag., ideal for traveling or if you are looking to try out the products. 

Calmwise Soothing Cleanser (40ml): an ultra-gentle foaming cleanser for red, sensitised skin. It removes make-up and impurities without stripping. Key ingredient: teprenone, to help calm visible redness.

Hydr8 B5 (10ml): Medik8's bestselling hydrating serum. Key ingredients: multi-weight hyaluronic acid and vitamin B5, to draw in moisture and help skin hold on to it.

Ultimate Recovery Intense (15ml): a rich, comforting cream that forms a protective layer over dry, compromised skin. Key ingredient: allantoin.

Ultimate Recovery Intense cream 15m: a rich, comforting cream for dry, tight or flaky skin. Jojoba oil and squalane nourish, allantoin and beta-glucan soothe, and a light protective layer locks in moisture and shields skin from everyday irritants.

Physical Sunscreen SPF50 (15ml): broad-spectrum mineral protection with non-nano zinc oxide and a hydrating finish. Water-resistant for 80 minutes.

Morning: cleanse, apply 2-3 drops of Hydr8 B5, then a small amount of Ultimate Recovery if your skin feels dry. Finish with Physical Sunscreen as the last step. Reapply every 2 hours outdoors, and after swimming or sweating.

Evening: cleanse, apply Hydr8 B5, then Ultimate Recovery. If you're using a prescribed topical treatment, follow the order in your personalised routine.

Some acne treatments make skin drier and more sensitive to the sun. This kit covers the basics your skin needs during that time: a cleanser that won't strip, hydration, barrier support and daily SPF50. Formulated without parabens or artificial fragrance.

Good to know

Lips aren't covered, so pair the kit with a dedicated lip balm.

The mineral sunscreen can leave a slight white cast, so you may like to follow with a tinted moisturiser or make-up.

If you have very reactive skin, patch test each product first.
